Sisters

Mercedes is my oldest and Charlie is my youngest. This was taken when I first brought Charlie home. She and Mercy would play all the time. Now that Charlie is the bigger of the two, play time has been cut to the outdoors only...when Mercy chases Charlie all over the yard!

Halas Diane

Halas Diane

Hallie was my first cat after I moved to North Carolina and really the beginning of my brood. She was eight weeks old when I got her and just turned 10. Birthday: October 10, 2005

Mercedes Rose

Mercedes Rose

Mercy is the oldest of all my babies. She was found in Statesville and I brought her home in October 2006 when she was about a year and a half. She's the mama of the group and loves everyone...but not always Charlie! Birthday: April 24, 2005

Bear Michael

Bear Michael

Bear is my Alabama baby! He was rescued by a vet after his owners wanted him put down because he had scabies. When he got back to Charlotte, he was completely healed, but had scabs all over. A few baths later and he was back to normal. Now he sleeps all day in his own little dog bed. Birthday: February 26, 2007

Lincoln James

Lincoln James

Lincoln was adopted from the Cornelius Animal Shelter after his owner surrendered him due to an injury that she didn't want to take care of. The bones in his back leg are fused wrong after a fall, but it doesn't keep him from jumping on the counters or running through the house. This cat is the friendliest feline you'll ever meet! Birthday: October 10, 2005 Unfortunately, Lincoln James passed away on June 13, 2016 after a battle with kidney and liver disease. R.I.P. my sweet angel!

Beaumont Anthony

Beaumont Anthony

Beau was rescued after his owner abandoned him and eight other cats. He is an epistatic cat, which means all colors are blocked, giving him his all white coloring. Beau is the ornery one of the group and hasn't found an item he can't knock off the counter yet. He also likes to sleep in odd places, but this photo once won me a free trip on Virgin America, so it's a useful trait! Birthday: March 28, 2008

Beckett Grace

Beckett Grace

Beckett was adopted from the Trenton (NJ) Animal Shelter. She was five months old at the time and was set to be euthanized in three days. Mercy wanted to check out the cats when we went in for a vet check-up and we came home with Becks. Knowing Mercy was the reason she was saved from death, Beckett loves to sleep with Mercy and spends lots of time by her side...especially when Charlie is not in the room! Birthday: June 9, 2011

Charlotte Hope

Charlotte Hope

Charlie was rescued from a junkyard in Charlotte along with her two sisters, Buddha and Layla. As the baby of the group, Charlie is the most clingy, the most jealous and the most crazy of all the animals. She is my son's best friend and his protector when she's not barking at her reflection or the leaves falling in the back yard! Birthday: March 15, 2014
