Paws & Pals Pet Sitting and Dog Walking

I can still remember the day my parents gave my sister and I our first puppy. It was Christmas Day 1988 – I was seven years old and my dad brought in a Toy Poodle puppy that we named Pookie (after Garfield’s favorite teddy bear). That little dog ruled our house for over 15 years even though he was the smallest of our brood. Although Pookie came from a breeder, we continued to grow our family throughout the years by rescuing any animal we could, whether from a shelter or the streets. At one point, we even had a rooster named George that I caught roaming the streets after school one day.

 

In the 29 years since that Christmas Day, my family has had five rabbits, four fish, two birds, a rooster, 10 dogs and 19 cats.

 

Currently, I am the proud mama of three dogs and five cats, all of whom have their own story, which you can read on the homepage by clicking on the individual photos of my furbabies!
